Department President’s Scholarship
The American Legion Auxiliary Department of Ohio awards one scholarship of $1,500 and one scholarship of $1,000 annually for students preparing to enter his or her freshman year of college. The applicant must be a veteran or a direct descendant of an honorably discharged veteran.
Deadline: due to the Department Education Chairman by March 15.
Nurse’s Scholarship Application
The American Legion Auxiliary Department of Ohio, Past President’s Parley has created a program to assist students pursuing a degree in the nursing field. The applicant must be a veteran or a direct descendant of an honorably discharged veteran.
Deadline: due to the Unit by May 1.
Spirit of Youth
One Junior member in each division will receive a scholarship valued at $5,000. The applicant must have held Junior membership for the immediate past three years, currently hold a membership card, and maintain her membership throughout the scholarship period.
Deadline: online application due by March 1.
